From Manchester to Melbourne: Colours of the Landscape
With personalities from the Chinese community, including Long Zhou (General Consul of the Popular Republic of China), and the artist Wang Ying, this event was an excellent opportunity to bring two worlds together.
As a photographer, you can feel when an event has broader relevance than usual: It's much more formal, and protocols are kept very tight.
However, I feel that part of my responsibility is to portray the mood in a way that conveys how people interact in a friendly and approachable manner.
I also need to help the organisers to show how these events are an excellent opportunity to meet influential people and extend the network of the participants.
